Livestream Embed on WordPress.com

I’ve had a livestream page on my WordPress for a while now (even though I never use it, it’s nice to know it’s there). Since Livestream’s embed code uses script tags, it’s usually removed when posting it through a free WordPress.com account. So you’ll have to upload the player for Livestream on Vodpod which is allowed on WordPress.com, however it’s a bit tricky to find the right thing to upload since it’s scripted, so I’ll share my uploaded player with anyone who needs it.

Here’s the code to put on your WordPress.com Page editor, change the values I highlighted, overwriting everything within and including the square brackets (“[" and "]“), it may need a bit of clean-up but I haven’t experimented with it that much so it’s up to you. Also, this code will embed the normal square player like on my live page:

[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.828205&w=[Player Width]&h=[Player Height]&fv=version%3D11%26backgroundColor%3D0x[Background Colour]%26allowFullScreen%3D[Allow Fullscreen]%26allowScriptAccess%3Dalways%26channel%3D[Channel Name]%26layout%3DplayerEmbedDefault%26backgroundAlpha%3D[Background Transparency]%26backgroundGradientStrength%3D[Background Gloss]%26chromeColor%3D0x[Player Colour]%26headerBarGlossEnabled%3D[Glossed Header]%26controlBarGlossEnabled%3D[Glossed Control Bar]%26chatInputGlossEnabled%3D[Glossed Chat]%26uiWhite%3Dtrue%26uiAlpha%3D[Button Transparency]%26uiSelectedAlpha%3D[Button Transparency on Mouse Over ]%26dropShadowEnabled%3D[Drop Shadow]%26dropShadowHorizontalDistance%3D[Horizontal Distance of Drop Shadow]%26dropShadowVerticalDistance%3D[Vertical Distance of Drop Shadow]%26paddingLeft%3D[Padding Left]%26paddingRight%3D[Padding Right]%26paddingTop%3D[Padding Top]%26paddingBottom%3D[Padding Bottom]%26cornerRadius%3D[Corner Radius]%26backToDirectoryURL%3Dnull%26bannerURL%3Dnull%26bannerText%3Dnull%26bannerWidth%3D320%26bannerHeight%3D50%26showViewers%3D[Show Viewer Count]%26embedEnabled%3D[Show Embed Option]%26chatEnabled%3D[Allow Chat]%26onDemandEnabled%3D[Allow On-Demand]%26programGuideEnabled%3Dfalse%26fullScreenEnabled%3D[Allow Fullscreen]%26reportAbuseEnabled%3Dfalse%26gridEnabled%3Dfalse%26initialIsOn%3D[Play on Load]%26initialIsMute%3D[Mute on Load]%26initialVolume%3D[Volume on Load]%26contentId%3Dnull%26initThumbUrl%3Dnull%26playeraspectwidth%3D4%26playeraspectheight%3D3%26mogulusLogoEnabled%3Dtrue%26wmode%3D]

“Does this bus go to Hospital X?”

“Does this bus go to Hospital X?” says the elderly man with an arched back and walking stick.

“No it doesn’t, you’ll need to take Bus N” replies a somewhat cheerful female bus driver.

Little did the man know that taking Bus N will never take him to Hospital X, he may sight Hospital Y on the way and realise there was some sort of misunderstanding on behalf of the female driver. Then he’ll ask Bus N’s driver if it does go to Hospital X. The bus driver, depending on his knowledge, will tell the pensioner that the hospital is in the opposite direction.

After finally arriving at the hospital, the old man realises he was less than 5 minutes away from it when he asked the female driver about it… He’s been travelling for over an hour.

I, of course, knew this, yet, being right at the back of the bus didn’t want to attract any attention to myself. The guilt settles in.

I’m just hoping he asked the same question to Bus N’s driver who would then give him the correct directions.

Impenetrable Defence

This is how to defend on a 32-man 2fort server. If you’re going to have 5 engineers, just stick together, not even ubered heavies can withstand the force. Of course, there is one sentry outside respawn for bonked scouts.
